Michigan Weather Center & Virginia Weather Network Are Now Acquired
North Ridgeville, OH–(Jul 22, 2016) –Neoweather, LLC has announced over the last week that the local weather forecast offering will be rebranded as the First Warn Weather Series
Neoweather acquired the rights to Michigan Weather Center and Virginia Weather Network. Both pages will be rebranded to fit the Neoweather structure and look. Michigan and Virginia First Warn bring more than 80,000 Facebook followers into the Neoweather brand.
The Neoweather Ohio offices in Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo and Cincinnati will be combined into Ohio First Warn Weather. One website page and one social media page will be dedicated for accurate forecasts and weather coverage across the state.
These changes are the first in a series of improvements that will be rolled out over the next several months as Neoweather expands to meet the needs of the weather consumer.
“We started in Akron, Ohio producing small text forecasts and graphics. My goal was to keep my friends and family safe. For the past several years we have been known as ‘Ohio’s Home for Weather’ posting forecasts and providing coverage to the great state of Ohio,” said Neoweather President Jeremy Crookston. “ Now it is time to adapt and expand outward to offer our well-supported product in Virginia and Michigan.”
The merger of successful weather organizations in Michigan and Virginia will allow Neoweather to reach a new audience for local weather coverage, but also help area weather-dependent businesses to save time and money by using Neoweather’s weather consulting services.
“Joining Neoweather as Michigan First Warn Weather is an awesome experience as we grow our brand,” said Michigan First Warn Weather Owner Ben Redmon. “The company structure of Neoweather allows us to upgrade the technology and graphics to better serve our audience across the state of Michigan. It also allows us to have a dynamic and user friendly website. We are excited to be a part of the Neoweather family.”
Michigan First Warn’s Marketing Director and Forecaster Eliot Dolgin is echoing similar thoughts.
“We are truly excited to create a seamless and innovative experience for the public. Our goal is to make weather information more accessible and easier than ever to understand,” Said Dolgin.
Denver Murray has helped build Virginia Weather Network into the premiere weather organization from Roanoke to Richmond and Washington D.C. Now a Neowetaher company, Virginia First Warn Weather will add a model for state-wide weather coverage. Murray will continue as the graphic specialist for Neoweather, plus forecaster.
“Virginia First Warn is excited to join the Neoweather team. Our combined years of experience will provide reliable and accurate forecasts to our followers and clients,” said Murray.
Neoweather is a growing source for public and private business weather forecasts. The public audience in Ohio, Michigan and Virginia and consulting clients across the United States depend on accurate weather content via multiple digital platforms.
140,000 followers trust Neoweather to keep them weather aware. Weather-dependent businesses use detailed and customizable forecast information to keep staff and customers safe while saving time and money.
